Greetings, dear reader!
We are pleased to present you our own project! Through our close friends and colleagues we write interesting and informative articles about science and life. Also about the history of chemistry, the history of discoveries of syntheses of some chemical compounds and other interesting things.
However, our founder Cas will be pleased to tell you this story from the first person:
My name is Cas Aander.
I live in Holland and work in the production of organic compounds. I started my career as a junior laboratory chemist at Organik Kimya Netherlands B.V. located in the south of Rotterdam. Given my major in organic chemistry, I worked in this company with textiles and leather, where I had my first experience of working and chemical interaction of hemp tissue.
After several years of work I moved to Wilmar Oleochemicals B.V. In this company I was still a junior employee, but I got a lot of experience and more importantly, close in spirit of friends and colleagues.
Unfortunately, our department has been downsized and I and a couple of my friends have been given a rather ambitious job offer at SABIC’s Huntsman in Botlek Rotterdam. However, as a full-time SABIC’s сhemist my work took place not only at Huntsman, but also in many of the group’s other subsidiaries.
To this day my friends (Gzegorz and Bastian) and I are working on maintaining this site. I’ve gained a lot of experience over the years, and now I have something to share with you.
